THE FACTS

 MaD Bling jewellery is made from only the highest jewellery grade tungsten carbide. We use genuine carbon fiber, Kevlar, 18kt and 24kt gold, silver and other high grade materials (where applicable).

 Tungsten carbide is a very hard and dense metal, with the highest melting point of all metals - 3,300 degrees Celsius. It gains its extreme hardness by being combined with a carbon alloy, transforming it into tungsten carbide. Tungsten carbide measures between 8 and 9 on the Mohs hardness scale (Diamonds are a 10 - the highest.) and is about 10 times harder than 18K Gold, 5 times harder than tool steel, and 4 times harder than titanium. Carbon fiber is used from aerospace to race cars to radio control toys and is one tense material. Kevlar was developed at DuPont in 1965 and is a tough synthetic fiber.
Now featuring in our rings simply because cause they both give a wicked to the power of sick holographic look. Who wouldn't want some of that!

Ceramic Ceramic is one hard material and is also used in some crazy applications - Such as brakes on high performance cars. Once again we use it cause it looks cool and it's very light weight.
     
Stones Cubic zirconia (or CZ) is the cubic crystalline form of zirconium dioxide (ZrO2). The synthesized material is hard and optically flawless........ Once again they just look the berries!
     
Stainless Steel We're using everything else so why not throw in the kitchen sink? Everyone knows stainless steel and we use it as it's easily manipulated to make some cool looking patterns.
     
Resin The word "resin" has been applied in the modern world to nearly any component of a liquid that will set into a hard lacquer or enamel-like finish. Great in rings as we can make an array of colours with a great finish.
     
Magnets Known to help with joint pains we actually didn't put these in because of how they look. No we're not hippies.
